One of our recent weddings was featured in the Image section of the Sunday LA Times on July 11th!  Maggie and Kevin were married on a yacht in Marina del Rey.  Their wedding theme was Old World travel, which fit perfectly with FotoNuova’s vintage style.

Here are some highlights from their engagement session and wedding.

FotoNuova was honored to have been recently featured in top wedding blog StyleUnveiled.com, which covers real weddings and vendors in Los Angeles, Portland, San Francisco, Austin, and Chicago.

Nicole and Timothy wanted to create an environment where their guests actually felt like they were walking into a classic 1930′s era Hollywood wedding.  And with the help of all their amazing Los Angeles team, everyone had an incredible experience.

I was especially grateful for their kind words for my part in it:

“Tim and I were thrilled that Aaron not only loved to shoot in the vintage style because he has a love for the aesthetic, but also because he has an appreciation for the old Hollywood period of film.

    His photographs are simply stunning.”

It was truly a joy to have contributed and participated in their beautiful day.

For those of you that have a future wedding for yourself or a loved one, I highly recommend that you check out all the featured weddings on the website. Not only are they a great resource to get ideas for the special day, but they have an extensive list of vendors that can help you bring your vision to life.

Just love the way that sounds, “Festa do Espirito Santo.” It sounds far better when said properly by a Portguese speaking person. Portuguese is a naturally “sexy” language. And I mean that as an attractive term and not so much in a taboo one.

Anyhow, back to business. The great Portuguese community of Artesia will be celebrating a 4 day festival in July. The festival will recognize a Royal court of Queens and Princesses.

Stay tuned for Festa images. Here are a portion of the session for their program.
